Why is my camera not detected?

Make sure the browser has camera permission for this site. Check that no other app (Zoom, Teams, Skype) is currently using the camera. On Windows, go to Settings → Privacy → Camera; on macOS, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.

Why is the video feed black or frozen?

A black feed usually means another application has exclusive access to the camera. Close other video apps, then click 'Start Camera' again. On some laptops, a hardware camera switch or privacy shutter may be blocking the lens.

How do I switch between cameras?

Use the device selector dropdown that appears once the camera starts. If you have a built-in webcam and an external USB camera, both will be listed and you can switch between them without refreshing the page.

Why is the resolution or frame rate low?

The browser requests the best available resolution, but the camera driver and available bandwidth determine the actual output. Make sure you are using the latest browser version and that no heavy applications are running in the background.
